Kretinsky Poised to Become West Ham’s Largest Shareholder, Sidestepping Staveley’s Pursuit
Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky is set to become West Ham United’s largest shareholder after agreeing to increase his stake to 46%, eclipsing current co-owner David Sullivan. This move sidelines Amanda Staveley’s consortium, which was also seeking to acquire a significant shareholding.
Sullivan, who will remain the second-largest shareholder, reportedly favored Kretinsky’s bid over Staveley’s. The deal will see other shareholders also adjust their stakes in the club.
