Football Regulator Vows ‘Absolute Power’ to Force Man City Sale
The Independent Football Regulator (IFR) has the ultimate authority to force the sale of Manchester City’s ownership if they are found to have mismanaged the club, according to IFR chair David Kogan.
While Kogan stated that any action would be premature pending City’s appeal against Premier League charges, he affirmed the regulator’s ‘absolute power’ to remove owners, regardless of their stance.
