Infantino Confirms Iran’s World Cup Participation Amidst FIFA Congress Absence
FIFA President Gianni Infantino has confirmed that Iran will participate in the upcoming World Cup, despite the nation’s absence from the FIFA congress in Canada.
The Iranian delegation was reportedly denied entry into Canada, potentially due to ties to the IRGC, but Infantino stressed the importance of football uniting people and assured Iran’s place in the tournament.
