Michigan Superfan Dave Portnoy Calls for Ohio State’s Conference Expulsion Over ‘Dumb’ Week 1 Senior Day
Michigan superfan Dave Portnoy vehemently criticized Ohio State’s decision to hold its Senior Day ceremony in Week 1, calling it “one of the strangest, dumbest things” he had seen.
Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, suggested the Buckeyes “should be kicked out of the conference,” arguing that head coach Ryan Day’s move to reduce distractions before the Michigan rivalry game was a sign of poor coaching, despite Ohio State’s dominant 56-3 season-opening win.
