Lions Should Pursue Anthony Richardson Jr. as a Developmental Backup, Analyst Suggests
An NFL analyst has recommended the Detroit Lions pursue a trade for Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Jr., seeing him as an affordable developmental backup for Jared Goff.
Despite a career marred by injuries, Richardson’s raw talent and potential upside make him an attractive, low-risk option for the Lions, who currently lack a long-term developmental backup.
