Chaisson’s ‘Peanut Punch’ Forces Key McCaffrey Fumble, Igniting Commanders’ Defense
Washington Commanders linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson delivered a game-changing ‘peanut punch’ fumble that stripped the ball from 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. This crucial defensive stop aimed to slow down the undefeated San Francisco team.
Although the turnover gave Washington a much-needed possession, the 49ers maintained a commanding lead heading into halftime, despite the brief defensive setback.
