Spanish Goalkeeper Esteban Andrada Handed 13-Game Ban for On-Field Punch
Real Zaragoza goalkeeper Esteban Andrada has been suspended for 13 matches after punching Huesca captain Jorge Pulido following his initial red card in a heated Spanish second division derby. The Spanish football federation deemed his actions “violently and aggressively” executed, resulting in a severe ban and additional financial penalties.
Andrada has since apologized for his “complete loss of control,” while Real Zaragoza has condemned the incident and promised internal disciplinary action.
