Serious Allegations: Austin FC Academy Players Face Police and FBI Investigation for Youth Sexual Abuse
Austin FC academy players are under investigation by the Austin Police Department and FBI for allegations of youth-on-youth sexual abuse within the club’s youth system. Austin FC became aware of the misconduct allegations in December 2025 and promptly reported them to MLS, the US Center for SafeSport, and law enforcement, initiating an internal investigation.
While multiple academy players have been disciplined, no staff members have been implicated, and all club/league proceedings are currently paused as law enforcement conducts its ongoing inquiry. Both Austin FC and MLS have affirmed their commitment to player safety and their full cooperation with the investigation.
