Scottish Football Rocked: SPFL Probes Celtic Matches Amid VAR Controversy and Pitch Invasions
The SPFL has launched investigations into five Scottish football matches, including two involving reigning Premiership champions Celtic, following a controversial season finale. This probe comes as the Scottish FA’s key match incident panel ruled a crucial penalty awarded to Celtic against Motherwell was incorrect. The league is also addressing multiple pitch invasions and incidents of unacceptable supporter conduct during recent fixtures, emphasizing the need for stricter adherence to rules H36 and H37.
