Raiders Coach Kubiak Offers Candid Assessment of Rookie QB Fernando Mendoza’s Preseason Performance
Raiders coach Klint Kubiak provided an honest review of rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza’s preseason performance following a 18-12 loss to the 49ers. Despite flashes of talent, Mendoza’s up-and-down exhibition, marked by inconsistency and struggles under pressure, indicates a need for further development.
Kubiak expressed satisfaction with the time Mendoza received but stressed the importance of continued improvement, as the Raiders prepare for their regular season opener against the Miami Dolphins.
