Petkovic: Alcaraz’s French Open Absence Opens Door for Djokovic to Exploit Sinner
Former player Andrea Petkovic warns that Carlos Alcaraz’s absence from the French Open could create an opportunity for Novak Djokovic to capitalize. Djokovic might exploit perceived weaknesses in World No. 1 Jannik Sinner’s game, particularly in longer matches.
Despite his own injury concerns, Petkovic believes Djokovic’s ‘GOAT mindset’ will lead him to recalibrate his preparation to peak for the clay-court major, potentially securing his fourth title and a record 25th Grand Slam.
