Oilers Ink Frozen Four MVP Owen Michaels to Entry-Level Deal
The Edmonton Oilers have signed Western Michigan captain Owen Michaels to a one-year entry-level contract. Michaels, the Frozen Four Most Outstanding Player, brings a championship pedigree and offensive upside to Edmonton. However, due to his age, he’s limited to a one-year deal and is ineligible for the playoffs this season.
