NBA Champion Antonio Daniels Explains Why He’d Pick Jalen Brunson Over Luka Dončić for a Title Run
An NBA champion has voiced a surprising take, stating he would choose Jalen Brunson over Luka Dončić to anchor a championship-winning team. Antonio Daniels, a former Spur, highlighted Brunson’s unique ability to thrive both on and off the ball, a versatility he feels Dončić, despite his immense talent and scoring prowess, has not yet demonstrated.
This preference comes as Brunson leads the New York Knicks deep into the playoffs, showcasing his clutch scoring and adaptable playmaking, while Dončić’s high-usage style faced scrutiny following his Los Angeles Lakers’ playoff exit due to injury.
