Modric’s Magic: Croatia Edge Slovenia in Pre-Euro Warm-up Ahead of England Clash
Luka Modric illuminated Croatia’s 2-1 friendly victory over Slovenia with a masterful performance, including a goal, potentially marking his final appearance on home turf. The win, sealed by Mario Pasalic’s late strike, also highlighted lingering concerns about Croatia’s defensive solidity and overall team cohesion.
As Croatia prepare to face England, questions surround the fitness of key players and the team’s tactical effectiveness. Modric’s enduring class remains a key asset, but Zlatko Dalic’s side must overcome these challenges to succeed in the upcoming tournament.
