Man Utd’s Pre-Season Ends with 4-2 Defeat to Amorim’s Milan; Rashford’s Return Raises Transfer Questions for Carrick
Manchester United concluded their pre-season with a concerning 4-2 defeat to AC Milan, raising questions for manager Michael Carrick ahead of their Premier League opener. While Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, and Lisandro Martinez made their returns from injury, defensive vulnerabilities were exposed, particularly in midfield and on the flanks.
The match also put a spotlight on Rashford’s uncertain future, as his first appearance since a loan spell prompted speculation about his long-term role at the club before the transfer window closes.
