Leeds United Shock Manchester United at Old Trafford with Okafor’s Brace and Martínez Red Card
Leeds United secured a landmark 2-0 victory at Old Trafford against Manchester United, thanks to a brace from Noah Okafor. The match was marred by a controversial red card for Manchester United’s Lisandro Martínez, who was sent off for pulling an opponent’s hair.
This result is Leeds’ first league win at Old Trafford since 1981 and a significant boost to their Premier League survival hopes, while piling more pressure on Manchester United and their interim manager Michael Carrick.
