Konnor Griffin Celebrates 20th Birthday with First MLB Home Run as Pirates Shut Out Brewers
Pirates’ rookie Konnor Griffin celebrated his 20th birthday by hitting his first MLB home run in a 6-0 shutout victory against the Milwaukee Brewers. Griffin had a standout performance, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
Pitcher Paul Skenes also contributed significantly, pitching seven dominant innings and earning the win, as the Pirates improved their season record to 15-11.
