Kings Coach D.J. Smith Demands ‘Meaner’ and More Physical Approach for Game 2 After Avalanche Loss

Following their 2-1 Game 1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings interim coach D.J. Smith is pushing for a more aggressive and ‘meaner’ performance in Game 2. Smith believes a heightened physical presence and consistent battle level are crucial for the Kings to compete against the Avalanche’s superior skill and speed.
