Karl-Anthony Towns’ Alarming Fourth-Quarter Scoreless Streak Jeopardizes Knicks’ Finals Bid and MVP Hopes
Karl-Anthony Towns has surprisingly scored zero points in the fourth quarter throughout the NBA Finals, a stark contrast to his strong performances in the initial three quarters of games. This concerning statistic, highlighted after a Game 3 loss to the San Antonio Spurs where he was outplayed by Victor Wembanyama, could jeopardize his Finals MVP aspirations. Despite his focus on team success, Towns’ ability to perform in crucial moments is essential for the Knicks to overcome their 53-year title drought and ease pressure on teammate Jalen Brunson.
