Jansen Day-to-Day with Groin Issue as Tigers’ Bullpen Woes Continue
Detroit Tigers closer Kenley Jansen is day-to-day with a groin/lower abdomen issue, adding to the team’s bullpen woes. Reliever Will Vest has been placed on the 15-day IL, further straining a unit that has struggled early in the season. The Tigers hope Jansen’s injury can explain recent blown saves as they prepare to face the Rangers and Red Sox.
