Jamal Murray’s Struggles Overshadow Nuggets’ Early Playoff Exit vs. Timberwolves
The Denver Nuggets were eliminated in the first round of the 2026 NBA playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves, with Jamal Murray bearing significant blame for his subpar performance in the decisive Game 6. Despite a strong showing from Nikola Jokic and Cam Johnson, the Nuggets’ offense faltered under intense defensive pressure from the Timberwolves.
The loss highlights potential issues in the Nuggets’ roster construction and their reliance on the Jokic-Murray dynamic, prompting a need for future strategic adjustments.
