Iran’s Unbeaten World Cup Run is Historic Amidst Adversity, Says Coach Ghalenoei
Iran’s coach Amir Ghalenoei hails his team’s unbeaten World Cup start as a historic achievement, given the extraordinary disruptions they faced before and during the tournament. Despite a conflict with co-hosts USA, cancelled friendlies, and restrictive travel logistics, Iran has secured two draws against Belgium and New Zealand.
Ghalenoei emphasized that his players deserve immense credit for their performance under such arduous conditions, believing their resilience will be remembered for generations.
