Ex-Cub Dontrelle Willis Suggests Brewers’ Shadow Looms Large Over Chicago’s Struggles
The Chicago Cubs are experiencing a significant downturn, losing 11 of their last 13 games and currently on a seven-game losing streak. Despite a strong start to the season, including multiple winning streaks, the team is third in the NL Central.
Former MLB pitcher and Fox analyst Dontrelle Willis believes the Brewers’ dominance is weighing on the Cubs’ minds, contributing to their struggles in both defense and offense. Key players like Pete Crow-Armstrong and Alex Bregman have also underperformed offensively.
