Eni Aluko Awarded Over £300,000 in Libel Case Against Joey Barton
Eni Aluko has won a libel case against Joey Barton, receiving over £300,000 in damages and legal costs. The case stemmed from Barton’s posts on X (formerly Twitter) where he made damaging claims about Aluko.
Barton, who is currently in custody facing separate assault charges, did not attend the hearing and has acknowledged his campaign against Aluko amounted to harassment.
