Congressman Jeffries Tells Trump to ‘Get Lost,’ Accuses Him of Hijacking Knicks’ NBA Finals Moment
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has publicly rebuked President Donald Trump, urging him to “get lost” and accusing him of trying to make the New York Knicks’ historic NBA Finals run about himself.
Jeffries, a passionate Knicks fan, emphasized that this significant moment for the city should not be overshadowed by political figures, particularly the President, whom he claims has a history of co-opting major events.
