Colts and Daniel Jones Reportedly Nearing Extension Deal Amid Contract Negotiations
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones and the team are reportedly making significant progress towards a two-year contract extension. Optimism is high for a deal to be reached soon, following intensive negotiations after the Colts placed the transition tag on Jones.
The contract talks come after Jones, recovering from an Achilles injury, reportedly sought a $50 million per year deal, while the Colts’ initial offer was closer to $30 million annually.
