Claude Giroux’s Potential Next NHL Stops: Flyers Return or Stanley Cup Chase with Stars?
Veteran forward Claude Giroux is a free agent in July 2026, and while the Ottawa Senators have made the playoffs, they may look to retool without him. Two potential destinations are emerging: a sentimental return to the Philadelphia Flyers, where he built a legacy, or a Stanley Cup pursuit with the contending Dallas Stars.
Giroux’s continued production in a depth role makes him an attractive option for teams seeking veteran leadership and scoring, whether it’s to end his career at home or chase a championship on a strong contender.
