Chris Finch Admits Timberwolves ‘Underserved’ Anthony Edwards, Lauds LaMelo Ball Acquisition
Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch acknowledged that Anthony Edwards was overused as a primary ball-handler last season. The team is excited about acquiring LaMelo Ball, believing his playmaking will allow Edwards to play off the ball more, unlocking his full potential and improving the team’s offense.
Finch highlighted that Ball’s addition is expected to create better scoring opportunities for Edwards and others, while also benefiting center Rudy Gobert. This move is seen as crucial for the Timberwolves to remain competitive in the Western Conference.
