Chelsea Hit with £10.75m Fine and Suspended Transfer Ban Over Historical Financial Breaches
Chelsea have been fined £10.75m and given a suspended two-year transfer ban by the Premier League for historical financial breaches under Roman Abramovich’s ownership. The investigation revealed undisclosed payments to agents and other parties related to player signings between 2011 and 2018.
The club also faces a nine-month ban on registering academy players, but avoided a points deduction due to its cooperation with the investigation.
