CFB World Rips NC State QB CJ Bailey After Dismal Week 0 Performance Against Virginia: ‘HAS to Be Better,’ ‘Zero Progress Was Made’
NC State quarterback CJ Bailey is under fire from the college football world after a dismal Week 0 performance against Virginia, completing just 12 of 23 passes for 84 yards, one interception, and a lost fumble in a 34-8 loss. Analysts and fans alike are criticizing his lack of mechanical improvement and suggesting he needs to ‘be better’ to remain a viable NFL Draft prospect.
Concerns over his throwing mechanics, which many expected to be fixed in the offseason, were evident, leading to calls for him to drastically improve to avoid falling out of early draft consideration.
