Swansea to Lodge Formal Complaint with EFL Over Sky’s ‘Wrexham-centric’ Broadcast of Championship Clash
Swansea City is set to lodge a formal complaint with the English Football League (EFL) regarding Sky Sports’ coverage of their recent Championship match against Wrexham. CEO Tom Gorringe accused the broadcast, which featured Wrexham’s owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds on an alternative commentary, of being biased and prioritizing Wrexham at Swansea’s expense. Sky Sports, however, maintains it produced the coverage and that it was fair and balanced, citing interviews with both teams’ personnel.
