Motherwell Manager Askou Unsurprised by Scotland Squad Snub for His Players
Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou isn’t surprised that none of his players were called up to the Scotland squad for upcoming friendlies, citing stylistic differences between his team and the national side. He believes Scotland coach Steve Clarke will likely stick with a largely settled squad ahead of the World Cup. Askou acknowledged his players may have hoped for inclusion but respects Clarke’s decisions.
