Rams Bolster Special Teams with Two-Time Super Bowl Champion Long Snapper Joe Cardona from Patriots

The Los Angeles Rams have fortified their special teams by signing two-time Super Bowl champion long snapper Joe Cardona from the New England Patriots to a two-year, $3.45 million contract. Cardona, a Southern California native, brings significant veteran experience and leadership to the Rams, whose special teams unit struggled last season, prompting an in-season coaching change.

His arrival is a key step in addressing a pivotal weakness for the NFC runner-ups, contributing to an aggressive offseason that has seen the Rams add multiple players with Super Bowl-winning pedigrees.
