Morocco Shake-Up: Regragui Out, Ouahbi In Ahead of World Cup
Morocco has unexpectedly sacked head coach Walid Regragui, the architect of their historic 2022 World Cup run, less than four months before the tournament. Mohamed Ouahbi, formerly the under-23 coach, has been appointed as his replacement. The FRMF cited a need for a ‘structured roadmap’ and ‘fresh energy’ as reasons for the change.
