Pro Bowler T.J. Houshmandzadeh Blasts Falcons HC Kevin Stefanski, Defends Michael Penix Jr.’s Play
Former Pro Bowler T.J. Houshmandzadeh has publicly blamed Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Kevin Stefanski for Michael Penix Jr.’s recent struggles and the team’s two-game losing streak, referencing Stefanski’s past performance in Cleveland. Houshmandzadeh argues that Stefanski’s coaching system is failing the team, despite Penix Jr. showing solid individual statistics marred by fumbles.
The Falcons, currently 2-4 and tied for second in the NFC South, are experiencing growing pains under their new coach as they aim to break a long-standing playoff drought. They face the undefeated San Francisco 49ers in their upcoming Week 7 matchup.
