Drake Maye Praises Patriots’ Offensive Line for Stellar Protection in 45-17 Rout of Raiders: “Eating a Ham Sandwich” in the Pocket
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye lauded his offensive line for exceptional protection during their dominant 45-17 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Maye humorously remarked that he had enough time to “eat a ham sandwich” in the pocket, highlighting the clean pockets that enabled his 374-yard, four-touchdown performance. This strong showing improved the Patriots’ record to 3-2, with Maye crediting the “big guys” up front for the team’s offensive explosion.
