LSU Omits Jayden Daniels from ‘NFLSU’ Hype Video Following Cease-and-Desist Over Iconic No. 5

Former LSU quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels was conspicuously absent from the Tigers’ ‘NFLSU’ pregame hype video, a decision stemming from a recent cease-and-desist letter he sent to the university. Daniels’ action was in response to LSU allowing a current player to wear his former No. 5 jersey. Despite the off-field controversy, LSU’s current team delivered a dominant performance against Clemson, with quarterback Sam Leavitt leading an impressive offensive display.
