Alek Thomas made an immediate impact in his Los Angeles Dodgers debut, delivering a crucial RBI hit that fueled a 4-3 comeback victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Dodgers rallied from an early 3-0 deficit, with clutch hits from Thomas and Teoscar Hernandez setting the stage for Kyle Tucker’s go-ahead single.
Pitcher Tarik Skubal bounced back from a shaky first inning to earn his first win as a Dodger, striking out 11 batters and shutting down the Pirates’ offense. The bullpen closed out the game, securing the win for the NL West-leading Dodgers.
