Saudi investor Turki Alalshikh has withdrawn his bid to take a controlling stake in Derby County, stating the lengthy approval process left insufficient time for season preparation. The club has confirmed it is no longer for sale and will continue under Clowes Developments.
The Independent Football Regulator (IFR) confirmed the assessment was completed efficiently, but the timing led to Alalshikh’s decision, though he has not ruled out future involvement.
