NBA Commissioner Adam Silver ‘Hopeful’ for Swift Conclusion to Kawhi Leonard-Aspiration Investigation
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is hopeful the extensive investigation into Kawhi Leonard and Aspiration will conclude this summer, clarifying that the league did not pause Leonard’s trade but rather the Clippers and Raptors did due to the ongoing probe.
The investigation, spurred by allegations of a $28 million “no-show” deal and potential salary cap circumvention by the Clippers, has expanded to examine other undisclosed endorsements and unreimbursed expenses, casting uncertainty over Leonard’s future and the proposed trade.
