NBA Draft Expert Calls Hawks’ Zuby Ejiofor Pick ‘The Worst in the First Round’
NBA draft expert Kevin O’Connor has labeled the Atlanta Hawks’ selection of Zuby Ejiofor with the 23rd pick in the 2026 NBA Draft as the ‘worst pick in the first round.’ O’Connor expressed surprise at the choice, suggesting the Hawks could have addressed their need for a true center more effectively through the draft.
He noted Ejiofor’s playing style is similar to Onyeka Okongwu but lacks a consistent jumper, and that the Hawks’ frontcourt depth was a clear weakness in their recent playoff run. The analyst believes the Hawks might be looking to free agency to fill their center needs.
