Yankees Eyeing Matt Chapman Acquisition to Bolster Third Base Amidst Giants’ Sell-Off
The New York Yankees are reportedly considering a trade for San Francisco Giants third baseman Matt Chapman to address their offensive struggles at the hot corner. Chapman, an elite defender and consistent offensive threat, could provide the stability the Yankees need as they pursue a championship.
The proposed deal would send prospects Chase Hampton and Wilson Rodriguez to the Giants, allowing the Yankees to acquire Chapman without depleting their farm system of top talent.
