Victor Wembanyama Sparks Outrage: Pundits ‘Extremely Angry’ Over National Anthem Conduct
Victor Wembanyama is facing backlash from sports pundits and fans for his conduct during the national anthem before Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Social media buzzed with clips showing the Spurs star with a displeased expression and crossed arms, leading to accusations of disrespect.
While some defended his actions due to his French nationality, others, including commentators Matt Wallace and Dan Zaksheske, expressed strong disapproval. Coach Mitch Johnson downplayed the incident, attributing such actions to personal habits rather than intentional disrespect.
