Ebola Fears Halt DR Congo vs. Chile World Cup Warm-Up in Spain
Spanish authorities have cancelled a World Cup warm-up match between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Chile due to fears surrounding the recent Ebola outbreak in the DRC.
The mayor of La Línea de la Concepción cited health risks and followed regional government advice in making the decision. The DRC squad had already relocated their training base from home to Belgium because of the outbreak.
