Becky Hammon Stands Firm on ‘Too Small’ Take Regarding Jalen Brunson, Cites Experience
Becky Hammon, head coach of the Las Vegas Aces, has revisited her controversial take that a player as small as Jalen Brunson cannot be the best player on a championship-contending team. She maintains her position, citing historical NBA trends and her own experiences as a former WNBA player.
Despite facing criticism as Brunson leads the New York Knicks, Hammon expressed openness to being proven wrong, stating, “If he proves me wrong, he proves me wrong,” but stands by her historically-based assessment.
