Tottenham Launches Major Inquiry into Alarming Injury Crisis, ACL Focus
Tottenham Hotspur has launched an extensive internal review into their season-long injury crisis, with a specific focus on an “unusual” number of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. The audit, led by performance director Dan Lewindon, aims to understand why the club’s average player availability dropped to 77% and how to implement changes like individualized medical support, flexible rehabilitation, and an integrated decision-making process involving coaching staff and a new head of psychology.
