Astros Pitcher Bennett Sousa Lands on Injured List with Elbow Inflammation
The Houston Astros have placed pitcher Bennett Sousa on the 15-day injured list with left elbow inflammation. This move adds to the team’s extensive injury concerns, particularly in their pitching staff.
Jayden Murray has been recalled from Triple-A to take Sousa’s place, while the Astros also made other roster adjustments including claiming an outfielder and moving another pitcher to the 60-day IL.
