Orioles Closer Ryan Helsley to Begin Throwing Program After Elbow Evaluation
Orioles closer Ryan Helsley is set to be reevaluated this week and will begin a throwing program if cleared, offering a positive update on his elbow inflammation. The team is also hopeful that prospects Jackson Holliday and Heston Kjerstad are nearing rehab assignments. Helsley’s absence will require the Orioles to utilize multiple relievers in save situations as they attempt to overcome a recent skid.
