Maple Leafs Shake Up Front Office: John Chayka Hired, Shane Doan Reportedly Out
The Toronto Maple Leafs have hired John Chayka as their new general manager, replacing the recently fired Brad Treliving. This move signals a significant shake-up in the team’s hockey operations.
Further changes are expected, with reports indicating that assistant general manager Shane Doan may also be departing the organization following the team’s missed playoff appearance in 2026.
