Millwall Secures Playoff Spot After Dramatic Season Finale, Eyes Premier League Dream
Millwall will compete in the Championship playoffs after a 2-0 victory over Oxford, despite their automatic promotion hopes being extinguished by Ipswich’s result. Femi Azeez scored both goals, securing third place for the Lions.
Manager Alex Neil praised his team’s performance and resilience throughout the season. Millwall now turn their attention to the playoff semi-final against Hull City, carrying the momentum of their best season in 30 years.
